Secondary title: Activities with water in a group of preschool children
Secondary abstract: The diploma thesis is based on the integration of interdisciplinar topic "Water", and on the examples of the activities that support the principle of active learning in a supportive learning environment. I have prepared activities in small groups with appropriate materials and with the preparation of teaching environment to assure more individuality. The activities followed the »Step by Step« methodology. The first part of the thesis is focused on the didactic games, learning and the theory of cognitive development of preschool children. More attention was dedicated to the “Kindergarten Curriculum”. I also focused on the area of natural science on which the topic of this thesis is based. Additionally, I tried to implement the activities according to the step by step methodology. The empirical part of the diploma thesis includes the execution and analysis of the contents. In this part, examine how the preparation of the kindergarten playroom affects the activities within the group, and how important are the previous experiences in understanding the concepts about water. The prepared contents were tested in a group of children, aged between five and six years, in the kindergarten in Notranje Gorice, where I work as an assistant kindergarten teacher.

Z ustreznimi materiali in pripravo prostora sem pripravila aktivnosti v manjših skupinah in s tem poskušala omogočiti več individualnosti. Empirični del diplomske naloge zajema izvedbo in analizo dejavnosti .
