Secondary title: Children's folk dances which originate in folklore
Secondary abstract: The diploma paper entitled CHILDREN’S FOLK DANCES WHICH ORIGINATE IN FOLKLORE is theoretical and empirical. The theorethical part of my diploma paper starts with folk dance: the concept of folk dance, folk dance clothes, preschool dancing – goals, educational principles and methods of dance education. Children’s dance tradition is also presented, along with children’s merrymaking games, children’s dance games which originate from folklore and childrens folk finger games. In the empirical part the monthly plan of preparations for the topic of folk dances is presented. It is evident from the evaluation of the pedagogical work that children like folk dance and that they love to cooperate in dance activities. The evaluation proved that the easiest way to introduce cultural heritage to preschool children is through play and dance games and that teachers in kindergartens do not spend enough time conducting activities related to folk dance.

Abstract (ePrints): Diplomska naloga z naslovom OTROŠKI LJUDSKI PLESI, KI IZVIRAJO IZ FOLKLORE je teoretično-empirično delo.
