Analysis of the use of geodetic GNSS methods for movements monitoring |
Secondary abstract: |
This thesis introduces the problem of monitoring of built facilities and critical, unfriendly natural areas within the geodetic measurements for the needs of geotechnical engineering. The main objective of the thesis, which is supported by practical examples of monitoring the stability area of the small geodynamical network Velenje Coal Mine, is to show and present the methods and the process of the deformation surveys that are based on long-term periodic measurements, with emphasis on the use of global navigation systems (GNSS). Within this project the presentation of GNSS technology is included. This technology nowadays enables us a high point of specifying the position and by that facilitating the monitoring of movements and deformations in this areas. Another thing presented in this thesis is the process of determining the point displacements in geodetic networks, as an intermediate stage between the adjustment of respective epoch measurements and in-depth deformation analysis. However the main objective of this thesis is to demonstrate the importance of respecting the actual velocity vectors of reference points in the process of balancing individual epochs and to provide an illustration of a simple procedure for the rapid, statistic based evaluation of deformation / movement in the region. |

Abstract (ePrints): |
Diplomska naloga predstavlja problematiko spremljanja stabilnosti (monitoringa) grajenih objektov in kritičnih, človeku nevarnih naravnih območij v sklopu geodetskih meritev. |
