Secondary title: A use case for a 5D building information model
Secondary abstract: In the context of exploration of the use of 5D building information models, we made a case study that was based on the laboratory of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geodesy. A 5D model was developed using a Vico Software package: 3D model was made by Constructor, Estimator was used for calculation of costs and Vico Control was used for a model-based scheduling utilizing flow-line diagrams. The whole virtual project can be seen in program 5D Presenter, which enables a complete overview of the building elements in the 3D model integrated with the costs and schedule. The thesis demonstrates integrated development and use of all components of the 5D building information model. The essence of a 5D model is that we have an integrated view of the whole project for all phases of construction. The model allows us to optimize the construction process, reduce sots and inconsistencies of the project.

Abstract (ePrints): V sklopu prikaza uporabe 5D informacijskega modela smo obravnavali laboratorijsko halo Fakultete za gradbeništvo in geodezijo. Celoten model virtualnega projekta si lahko ogledamo v programu 5D Presenter, kjer imamo popoln pregled nad elementi v 3D modelu, s stroški in terminskim planom. Naloga prikazuje način izdelave in uporabe vseh sestavnih delov 5D informacijskega modela.
