Modelling productions and attractions of freight transport |
Secondary abstract: |
This diploma thesis addresses the theoretical bases of the regression analysis, identifies the
data necessary for the performance of the analysis and modelling of productions and freight
transport attractions and examines dependence of European states’ export and import
respectively on socio-economic indicators of the states. The focus was limited to the EU
Member States and candidate countries for the entry into the EU as well as the available
railway and road transport data and the data on river transport. Input data were acquired from
the statistical databases of the Statistical Office of the European Communities (Eurostat), the
World Bank and national statistical offices of individual EU Member States. The calculation
made use of multiple linear regressions. Regression equations are calculated by product
groups, separately for export and import. Product groups are in accordance with the Standard
International Trade Classification (SITC). The regression equations take into consideration
regression coefficients that are statistically relevant and have impact on the independent
variable. The calculation was made by using the SPSS statistical programme. |

Abstract (ePrints): |
Vhodni
podatki so pridobljeni iz statističnih baz Statističnega urada Evropskih skupnosti (Eurostat),
Svetovne banke (World bank) in statističnih uradov posameznih držav Evropske unije. Za
izračun sem uporabil multiplo linearno regresijo. Izračunane so regresijske enačbe po
blagovnih skupinah, ločeno za izvoz in ločeno za uvoz. Blagovne skupine so povzete po
Standardni mednarodni trgovinski klasifikaciji (SITC). V regresijskih enačbah so upoštevani
