Secondary abstract: The graduation thesis deals with flood protection in the area of NPP Krško. It treats the current state of the terrain and foreseen conditions. Hydraulic calculations were carried out with two-dimensional mathematical model developed at the Chair of fluid mechanics. General description and main characteristics of the area are described in the beginnig. Also basic topographical and hydrological conditions of the river basin are listed in initial part. Further on, the mathematical model and the computations with the programme PCFLOW2D are described. Some theoretical basis, including basic equations and numerical solution method are also presented. Results of the computations are presented in the end. Analysis for the present state showed, that flood protections measures for probably maximum flood are not appropriate. Finally, the design of future flood protection mesures in this area is proposed considering all the analyses performed.

Abstract (ePrints): V diplomski nalogi je obravnavana poplavna varnost širšega področja NE Krško. Obravnavano je bilo sedanje stanje terena ter predvidene ureditve. Hidravlični izračun je potekal z dvodimenzionalnim matematičnim modelom, razvitim na Katedri za mehaniko tekočin UL FGG. V uvodnem delu so opisane osnovne značilnosti obravnavanega območja. Navedene so topografske značilnosti ter hidrološki pogoji na povodju. V nadaljevanju je predstavljen matematični model ter potek računa z računalniškim programom PCFLOW2D. Opisane so teoretične osnove modela z enačbami in povzetkom numerične metode reševanja. Na koncu so predstavljeni rezultati izvedenih izračunov, ki so pokazali, da obstoječe stanje visokovodnih zaščit za primer pojava maksimalno verjetnega pretoka ne zadošča. Glede na rezultate izračunov so bile nato podane smernice za načrtovanje bodočih protipoplavnih zaščit na tem območju.
