Secondary title: Computer generated project documentation for simple supported concrete beams
Secondary abstract: Subject of the thesis is a software application for quick, automatic and simple creation of the project documentation for simple supported beams. The solution enables structural design of typical span members of a simple supported beams according to the Eurocode standards (Eurocode 0, Eurocode 1 and Eurocode 2). The software application is developed in the VBA programming language (Visual Basic for Aplications) and runs as a macro within the MS Excel document. The input data is prepared in forms and spreadsheets within MS Excel and is organised as follows: for each project, it is possible to define a separate data base that contains information about indefinite number of beams, which represent the basic elements of the database. The application enables all standard features, e.g., for adding, browsing, updating, and deleting the information related to the beams that are in the database. Based on data about load, geometry and material of each beam, the application calculates required amount of flexural and shear reinforcement. The database of beams can be automatically transformed to alphanumerical and graphical data in the MS Word file, where the final project documentation is created on one A4 page for each defined beam. These A4 MS Word page includes the data about the geometry and actions applied on the beam with alphanumerical and graphical presentation of the designed reinforcement.

Abstract (ePrints): Predmet diplomskega dela je program, ki uporabniku omogoča preprosto in avtomatizirano izdelavo statičnega izračuna za prosto ležeč armirano betonski nosilec.
