Designing the three-dimensional cartographic symbols to establish an abstract 3D representations of Prague city |
Secondary abstract: |
The thesis deals with making generalized and abstract 3D objects for the purpose of 3D cartographic depictions of Prague. Based on the theory of levels of detail and abstraction, 3D models, and existing photo-realistic 3D objects. An abstract 3D objects, which are necessary for a transparent and clearly of 3D map, was made. The first part describes the theory of three-dimensional cartographic presentations and symbols, and procedures of generalization. The practical part describes the generalization of eighteen (18) selected objects within the city of Prague. |

Abstract (ePrints): |
