Secondary abstract: The theme of this final thesis is testing higher levels of automation of universal total station, where we tested the Leica TCRA1102plus. This paper discusses the development of surveying and their breakdown. Lists and describes the systems, which enabled a higher degree of automation in modern surveying and facilitate the operator's work in the field. In the practical part of the thesis we tested automation system of tachymeter Leica TCRA1102plus namely, we compared the accuracy of the automated sighting system ATR with manual sighting. The accuracy of the measurements was calculated using equations from standard ISO17123-3, and then comment on their respective advantages and disadvantages.

Abstract (ePrints): Tema diplomske naloge je testiranje višjih stopenj avtomatizacije univerzalnih elektronskih tahimetrov, kjer smo testirali tahimeter Leica TCRA 1102 plus. V delu je opisan razvoj tahimetrov ter njihova razdelitev. Navedeni in opisani so sistemi, ki so omogočili višje stopnje avtomatizacije sodobnih tahimetrov, in omogočili lažje delo operaterja na terenu. V praktičnem delu diplomske naloge smo testirali sistem avtomatizacije tahimetra Leica TCRA 1102 plus, in sicer smo primerjali natančnost avtomatskega sistema viziranja ATR z ročnim viziranjem. Natančnost opravljenih meritev smo izračunali s pomočjo enačb zapisanih v standardu ISO17123-3 in jih nato komentirali ter opisali njihove prednosti in slabosti.
