Secondary title: Impact of internal water reservoirs in high-strength concrete on drying shrinkage
Secondary abstract: This thesis discussed the impact of internal curing on shrinkage of high-strength concretes, especially due to drying shrinkage. The shrinkage is more pronounced in the concrete due to the lack of water during the process of hydration, which is the result of low water/cement ratio. Among the several methods of internal curing of concretes internal curing with presoaked lightweight aggregate was selected. The impact of internal curing with pre-soaked lightweight aggregate concrete was studied in two different fractions of lightweight aggregate, 0-2 mm and 2-4 mm. Shrinkage was measured 28 days. Based on the analysis of the results it can be concluded that shrinkage due to the drying in concrete, which was cured with light aggregates, was smaller compared to concrete, which was not internally cured.

Abstract (ePrints): V diplomski nalogi obravnavamo vpliv notranje nege na krčenje betonov visoke trdnosti, predvsem na krčenje zaradi sušenja.
