Secondary abstract: The thesis deals with the technology of top down construction method. The basic types of protection of excavation pit are presented. Details of classic top down method, nonshored formwork system for top down construction, strut as permanent system, bracket supported R/C downward and strut top down are explained. Two examples from Slovenia, parking house Kongresni trg in Ljubljana and The National and University Library of Slovenia designed by the architect Jože Plečnik, are described. The focus of this work is the description and comparison of individual methods, their advantages and disadvantages and conditions of use.

Abstract (ePrints): V diplomskem delu je obravnavana tehnologija izvedbe gradbene jame z vrha navzdol. Predstavila sem osnovne tipe varovanja gradbene jame in različne tehnologije izvedbe gradbene jame. Podrobneje so razložene: klasična metoda z vrha navzdol, sistem z visečim opažem, sistem z uporabo trajnih razpor, sistem s širokimi gredami in sistem s hidravličnimi razpirali. Opisana sta še dva primera iz Slovenije: Parkirna hiša Kongresni trg in Narodna in univerzitetna knjižnica Jožeta Plečnika. V diplomski nalogi je poudarek na opisu in primerjavi posameznih metod, njihovih prednosti in slabosti ter pogojev uporabe.
