Freight traffic in transit through Slovenia |
Secondary abstract: |
Freight traffic in tranzit through Slovenia has greatly increased in 2004 when Slovenia joined the EU (European Union), and over the years has only increased . In particular, road freight is daily polluting, causing excessive noise, overstretching the motorway network and is the cause of many accidents and congestions. So is important that Slovenia follows the guidelines of the EU and develop the rail network, freeing the motorway network.
In the first part of thesis i present the factors of demand for freight (transit) traffic, directions for further development of freight transport or transport policy and the numbers of freight transport in the EU and Slovenia . In the second part of thesis I show the necessary input data for the model from the network to the zoning and statistics. After setting the model for road and rail freight data from 2011, I show the impact of various scenarios on traffic flows through Slovenia. For road freight are scenarios in relation to the accession of Croatia and other countries in the EU , the construction of the third development axis and increases of tolls. In the case of rail freight transport and modernization of railway Pragersko - Ormož and the accession of Croatia and other countries in the EU are evaluated. In the last part od thesis I checked for how much would increase the number of trains for the individual sections in the event that 30% of freight from road would move to rail, as stated in the EU
guidelines for the year 2030. |

Abstract (ePrints): |
