Secondary title: With puppet we encourage learning and children play of children with special needs
Secondary abstract: The puppet often reaches over boundaries and walls, that teacher can’t get over. It delivers freedom and takes us in the word of imagination. It dictates and teaches an individual, takes him into imaginary world, world of reality and his own world of adventure. By animating the puppet becomes alive and contributes to the link between the animator and audience. This diploma work is centred on how to use the puppet in the teaching process of children with special needs. It’s especially focused on improvised animation of the puppet correlated with different objects. The theory part of this diploma deals with basic concepts that we encounter with children with special needs. It also includes the elaboration of the term puppet and its influence on teaching process and development of the child’s play. Empiric part of the work represents different activities that enabled the puppet and objects to come alive in school and its close environment. The activities are analysed, documented and summed up into a set of discoveries that we reached during the process of working with the puppet. The presence of puppet in the learning process provides greater motivation, diligence and attention of children. In the children play puppet improves social relations between individuals and develops the game.
