Abstract

Prostovoljstvo je v današnjih časih, ko na trgu dela vladajo zelo slabe razmere in ljudje z iskanjem zaposlitve bijejo pravi boj z mlini na veter, ena od idealnih rešitev za tiste, ki želijo koristno in kvalitetno preživljati svoj prosti čas. Največje potrebe po prostovoljnem udejstvovanju lahko najdemo v raznoraznih nepridobitnih organizacijah. V njih so prostovoljci tisti, ki ustvarjajo organizacijo, in vsak posameznik, ki se bo v njej počutil dobro, bo pri opravljanju svojih nalog lahko uspešen ter tako pripomogel na poti k zastavljenim ciljem organizacije. V diplomskem delu smo se zato osredotočili na prepoznavanje dejavnikov, ki najpomembneje vplivajo na oblikovanje organizacijske klime pri prostovoljstvu. V diplomski nalogi uvod zajema predstavitev problema, namen in cilje diplomskega dela, predpostavke in omejitve pri pisanju ter metode dela pri raziskovanju. V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili organizacijsko klimo, njeno zgodovino in dimenzije ter načine merjenja klime. Obrazložili smo tudi pojem organizacijske kulture in pojasnili glavne razlike med organizacijsko klimo in kulturo. Nadaljnje smo povzeli definicije o nepridobitnih organizacijah ter predstavili management, kulturo in dejavnosti le-teh. V empiričnem delu smo izvedli raziskavo o dejavnikih oblikovanja organizacijske klime med prostovoljci in zaposlenimi v Zavodu O, zavodu škofjeloške mladine, ki že več kot 15 let deluje kot nepridobitna organizacija na področju kulturnega, glasbenega in umetniškega delovanja. Zanimalo nas je, če imajo starejši prostovoljci boljše mnenje o medsebojnih odnosih v organizaciji kot mlajši prostovoljci ter če število let sodelovanja vpliva na temeljno poznavanje poslanstva, vizije in ciljev organizacije. Želeli smo ugotoviti tudi, če je v povprečju nezaposleni del prostovoljcev bolj motiviran in zavzet za delo kot zaposleni del ter če je mnenje moškega dela anketirancev glede notranjega komuniciranja in informiranja boljše od ženskega dela anketirancev. Anketni vprašalnik so sodelujoči dobili neposredno v roke, izpolnili pa so ga skoraj vsi, ki so tako ali drugače udeleženi v prostovoljnih aktivnostih Zavoda O ter seveda tudi vsi zaposleni v njem. Podatke smo nato analizirali s programom Microsoft Excel in jih obdelali s pomočjo statističnega programa SPSS 20.

Secondary title: THE FACTORS OF THE ORGANIZATIONAL CLIMATE IN VOLUNTEERING
Secondary abstract: In the currently unfavourable situation in which people seeking employment are tilting at windmills, volunteering seems as one of the ideal solutions for those who wish to spend their free time in a useful and positive manner. Volunteering is particularly appreciated in various non-profit organisations. There, the volunteers are building the organisation and each individual who feels well in their midst will be more successful at his tasks and thus help achieve the organisation's goals. To this end, the thesis focuses on recognising the most significant factors influencing the creation of organisational climate in volunteering. The introductory part of the thesis presents its problem, purpose and goals as well as the hypotheses, limitations and research methods. The theoretical part provides insight into organisational climate, its history and dimensions and outlines the ways to evaluate organisational climate. Moreover, it explains the notion of organisational culture and outlines the main differences between organisational climate and culture. It also summarizes certain definitions of non-profit organisations and touches on their management, culture and activities. The empirical part of the thesis contains a research on the factors influencing the creation of organisational climate among the volunteers of Zavod O, Zavod škofjeloške mladine, which has for more than 15 years been active as a non-profit organisation in the areas of culture, music and art. We were particularly interested in determining whether older volunteers have a better opinion about interpersonal relations within the organisation than their younger colleagues and whether longer cooperation has an impact on the fundamental knowledge of the mission, vision and goals of the organisation. In addition, we explored if unemployed volunteers are generally more motivated and enthusiastic than those who are employed and if the opinion of male respondents regarding internal communication and information is better than the opinion of female respondents. The survey questionnaires were distributed directly to to the respondents; they were filled in by almost everyone in any way involved in the voluntary activities of Zavod O as well as all of its employees. The data was analysed with Microsoft Excel and processed using statistical software SPSS 20.
