Secondary title: Self-concept of pupils of primary school with adjusted program in comparison with pupils of regular primary school
Secondary abstract: In my diploma thesis the meaning of the self-concept, its development, components of self- concept, factors that affect it and the population of people with mental disabilities, actually adolescents with mild mental disabilities are presented. In the second part are the results of a research including from 7th - 9th grade pupils of primary school with adjusted program and pupils from regular primary school. I wanted to find out what differences are shown in the self-concept of pupils of both educational programs in the academic, social, physical and emotional area. What interested me was also whether there is a significant relationship between adolescent’s school success and their self-concept. The results showed that there aren’t significant differences in self-concept of pupils of primary school and pupils of primary school with adjusted program.
