(diplomsko delo)
Abstract
Raziskovalna metodologija. Uporabili smo deskriptivno metodo dela.

HEALTH EDUCATION OF PARENTS AND CHILDREN ABOUT THE CHANGES ON THEIR FEET AND NAILS |
| Secondary abstract: |
Today's way of living causes more and more problems with our feet. Burdens like long duration of standing and walking on the asphalt are increased by overweight and wrong footwear. Care of feet has to begin right after the child's birth and it is important for its further psychical and physical health. The purpose of this diploma work is to represent the changes on the feet and nails at preschool children and taking the part of a nurse with making parents perceptive regarding recognitions of changes on children's feet and nails. With the help of the research we found out the level of parent's perception regarding the changes on children's feet and nails.
Research methodology. The descriptive method of work was used. As instrument for collecting data was used structured questionnaire of an inquiry. Acquired data were statistically worked in computer programs Microsoft Office Excel and Microsoft Word with graphic reviews in form of the diagrams.
Results. The results of the research show, that the parents are aware of possible changes on the feet and nails of their child, but apparently they do not have enough information about beginning of such changes. Parents get most of the information online, but they wish, such information would be available at children consulting from the nurse or at the child's personal doctor.
Conclusion. The right care and suitable footwear of a child are very important and we have to pay attention to that right after child's birth. Besides parents takes the important role the nurse, too. The nurse has to teach the parents about right and proper care of the child's feet and nails, suitable footwear and about possible changes on feet and nails as well. |
