Prometna varnost voznikov koles z motorjem in motornih koles na območju Policijske uprave Celje v obdobju 2001-2011

Abstract

Vsako leto se povečuje število voznikov koles z motorjem in motornih koles, ki postajajo vse bolj priljubljeno prevozno sredstvo med mladimi. Z rastjo števila enoslednih motornih vozil se povečuje tudi nevarnost za motoriste, ki so veliko ranljivejši od drugih udeležencev v cestnem prometu. Predmet obravnave diplomske naloge je prometna varnost voznikov koles z motorjem in motornih koles na območju policijske uprave Celje v obdobju 2000–2011. Na podlagi statistično pridobljenih podatkov smo analizirali število prometnih nesreč, vzroke za nastanek le-teh, posledice. Podali smo tudi predloge, ki bi lahko pripeljali k izboljšanju prometne varnosti in zmanjšanju števila prometnih nesreč ter zmanjšanju posledic le-teh.

Secondary abstract:	Every year, the number of moped drivers and motorcyclists on the road rises, and they are an increasingly popular means of transport amongst young people. With the growth in the number of two-wheeled motor vehicles on the road, the danger for these motorists also increases as they are much more vulnerable than other road users. The subject of this thesis is moped driver and motorcyclist road safety within Celje Police Department for the period 2000-2011. Based on the collected statistical data, we analysed the number of traffic accidents, as well as the cause and the consequences of the accident. I also made suggestions as to how road safety could be improved and lessen the number of traffic accidents and their consequences.
