Secondary abstract: | A large percentage of population have faced demanding or less demanding surgery during lifetime. Each operation is important to the individual. When we talk about safety in surgery we all have certain fears or. concerns about the safety of procedure itself. Patient's safety is always the most important thing, expecially in those cases where conditions are not favorable and the pressure and desires of patients are big. Preparation for surgery is a complex process involving a series of health professionals. In this process nurse has an important and responsible role becouse of responsabitity for patinet's life. The purpose of this work is to describe a surgery and life-threatening complications that can appear during surgery. It is also an important purpose to present the frequency of life-threatening complications during surgery at the General Hospital Celje between year 2010 and 2012. We compared the data with program Birpis 21 and come up with some surprising results. |
