Abstract

V diplomskem seminarju smo obravnavali temo z naslovom Vpliv etike pri preprečevanju nadlegovanja na delovnem mestu. Tema o nadlegovanju na delovnem mestu, je aktualna že desetletja in glede na gospodarsko krizo, ki ji še ni videti konca, je aktualna še danes. Zaradi prenasičenosti trga s ponudniki iste branže, se posledično v posameznih podjetjih izvajajo pritiski na zaposlene, ki v različnih situacijah vodijo do nadlegovanja. Pri pisanju diplomskega seminarja smo se najprej osredotočili na teoretična izhodišča za obravnavo etike, opredelili smo razlike in podobnosti med pojmoma etika in morala, ter opredelili značilnosti poslovne etike, ki je ključnega pomena pri poslovanju organizacije. Naša tema je obsegala tudi področje nadlegovanja na delovnem mestu, zato smo poiskali najbolj nazorne definicije, ki opredeljujejo kaj ta pojav je, kakšni so vzroki za nastanek tega pojava in kakšne so posledice. Povezanost obeh tem se kaže predvsem pri uvedbi ukrepov za preprečevanje nadlegovanja na delovnem mestu. Da lahko takšne ukrepe uvedemo, mora biti etika managementa razvita na ravni, ki zagotavlja popolno predanost organizaciji in predvsem, se morajo managerji oziroma celoten vodilni kader zavedati, da lahko uspešno poslujejo samo, če poslujejo tudi etično.

Secondary abstract: In diploma seminar we have discussed a theme with the title The role of ethics in the prevention of harassment in the workplace. The theme about the harassment in the workplace place has been current for decades and regarding the economic crisis, that will not end soon, it still is current. Because of the saturation of the market with providers of the same line of business, the corporations execute pressure on the employers, which in different situations lead to the harassment. When writing the diploma seminar, we first focused on the theoretical starting point for the discussion of the ethics, we have defined the differences and similarities between the expressions ethics and moral, and we have defined the features of business ethics that is the key meaning at organization business. Our theme has also included the field of harassment in the workplace. This is why we have looked for the most explicit definitions that describe what this phenomenon is, why does it even occur and what consequences does it have. The connection of both themes is seen mostly at introduction of the steps for preventing the harassment in the workplace. If we want to introduce that kind of measures, the ethics of the management has to be developed to the level that provides complete devotion to the organization and, most of all, the managers and the whole leading team has to realize that the only way to have successful business is if they act ethically.
