Abstract

V pričujočem diplomskem delu z naslovom "Obdobja človekovega življenja - kaj in koliko vedo o njih učenci na prehodu iz prvega v drugo triletje osnovne šole" se dopolnjujeta in prepletata dve zaokroženi celoti - teoretična in empirična. V teoretičnem delu so podrobno opisana obdobja človekovega življenja od rojstva do smrti. Hkrati smo v sklopu teoretičnega dela naredili tudi analizo učnih načrtov in učbenikov za pouk spoznavanja okolja v prvem, drugem in tretjem razredu ter družbe in naravoslovja in tehnike v četrtem in petem razredu osnovne šole s stališča obdobij človekovega življenja. V empiričnem delu pa predstavljamo rezultate empirične raziskave o poznavanju obdobij človekovega življenja med osnovnošolci tretjega, četrtega in petega razreda podeželske (OŠ Jožeta Hudalesa Jurovski Dol) in mestne (OŠ Janka Padežnika Maribor) osnovne šole. Ugotavljamo, da je znanje otrok o raziskovalnem problemu po pričakovanju zelo dobro.

Secondary abstract: The diploma thesis entitled 'Human life stages - what and how much do students in the transition from the first to the second triad in primary school know about them' consists of two complementary and intertwined wholes; the theoretical and the empirical. The former describes in detail the stages of human life from birth to death. It also includes analysis of the curriculum and textbooks for environmental science lessons in the first, second and third grade, and for society and science and technology lessons in the fourth and fifth grade of an elementary school from a human life stages viewpoint. The empirical part presents the results of a study on the knowledge of the human life stages among primary school children in the third, fourth and fifth grade of a rural (Primary school Jožeta Hudalesa Jurovski Dol) and urban (Primary school Janka Padežnika Maribor) primary school. The conclusions identified that the children's knowledge about the research problem is very good, as expected.
