diplomsko delo univerzitetnega študijskega programa
Abstract
Do ugotovitev smo prišli z analizo rezultatov ankete, v kateri so sodelovale različne slovenske organizacije

Knowing the carbon footprint of Slovenian organisations |
Secondary abstract: |
Climate change and global warming are nowadays two of the main concerns in the world and for their mitigation are taken many measures. The calculation of carbon footprint, which displays CO2 emissions and emissions of other greenhouse gases, is becoming more and more widespread. In our thesis we wanted to check out, to what extent various Slovenian organizations calculate their carbon footprint, and what their view on the care for the environment is. We came to the findings with the analysis of a survey, in which participated various Slovenian organisations.
The findings showed that the organizations decide for the calculation of their carbon footprint in minority, but most of them are aware of how important it the care for the environment. We also found out that the organizations have already adopted measures that would contribute to the reduction of emissions, but there are still many of them which have not yet taken any action. The findings also showed that mostly larger (over 250 employees) and older (over 20 years) organisations decide for the calculation of the carbon footprint. |
