Abstract

Tema diplomskega seminarja so družinski odnosi kot razvojni dejavnik družinskega podjetja. V prvem delu smo predstavili različne definicije družinskega podjetja, saj uradna definicija ne obstaja. Predstavili smo temeljne značilnosti družinskega podjetja in pa razlike med družinskimi in nedružinskimi podjetji. Pozornost smo namenili tudi prednostim in slabostim družinskih podjetij. Predstavili smo rezultate nekaterih raziskav in ugotovili, da so družinska podjetja v Sloveniji zelo pomembna in da predstavljajo velik delež vseh podjetij. Izpostavili smo nekatera znana uspešna slovenska podjetja in njihovo panogo. Bistvo diplomskega seminarja predstavljajo družinski odnosi. Proučili smo osebe, ki so prisotne v družinskem podjetju, vrste družinskih odnosov, vzroke za nastanek konfliktov in možne načine reševanja le teh. Predstavili smo tudi profil moškega podjetnika in profil ženske podjetnice. Opredelili smo tudi pojem nasledstva, nasledstvene možnosti, opisali nasledstvo kot proces in ovire za planiranje nasledstva. Predstavili smo tudi družinsko podjetje Sveča d.o.o. iz Vidma pri Ptuju in proučili družinske odnose ter problem nasledstva. Izbirali so namreč med dvema sinovoma, vendar so prehod v drugo generacijo rešili s pogovorom o željah posameznika in tako izbrali primernejšega naslednika.

Secondary title: Family relationships as developmental factor of a family business
Secondary abstract: The role of the family relationships as an important developmental factor in a family-owned enterprise is the main topic of the following diploma thesis. Since an official definition of such enterprise doesn't seem to exist, the first part of the thesis presents different definitions of family-owned enterprises. The follow-up deals with some fundamental characteristics of family enterprises, as well as some differences between the family and non – family enterprises. Special attention was drawn to the presentation of the advantages and disadvantages of such enterprises. According to the results of certain researches, family-owned enterprises play an important part in Slovene economy and represent high percentage of all enterprises in Slovenia. Some famous and successful ones were also highlighted in this diploma thesis. The family relationships represent core of the following diploma thesis. All the people involved in a family-owned enterprise their relationships and different causes for conflicts have been studied, as well as some possible solutions for such conflicts. There has been a profile study of a male and a female entrepreneur. We defined the definition and different possibilities of succession, described succession as a process and presented some obstacles of succession planning. We presented a family-owned enterprise Sveča d.o.o. from Videm near Ptuj, studied their family relations and some succession problems. The succession dilemma between two sons was solved by encountering their wishes and plans for the future.
