Abstract

Diplomsko delo predstavlja raziskavo splošnih značilnosti ljudskih pesmi na Slovenskem, značilnosti petja ljudskih pesmi in značilnosti zborovskih priredb ljudskih pesmi. Na kratko je predstavljeno življenje in delo skladatelja Ambroža Čopija ter značilnosti njegovega opusa. Z analizo osmih priredb slovenskih ljudskih pesmi skladatelja Ambroža Čopija so opisane značilnosti izbranih ljudskih pesmi ter primerjava teh s priredbami drugih avtorjev in z izvirnimi različicami. Pričujoče delo ponuja kratke in splošne napotke za interpretacijo skladb in delo z zborom ter poročilo diplomskega koncerta, ki predstavlja praktični del diplomskega dela. Metodološki načini uporabljeni v diplomskem delu so deskriptivna metoda, komparativna metoda, zgodovinska metoda, metoda klasifikacije in metoda analize ter sinteze.

Secondary abstract: The diploma thesis presents the research of general characteristics of Slovenian folk songs, the characteristics of singing folk songs and the characteristics of choral folk song arrangements. It briefly outlines the life and work of the composer Ambrož Čopi and the characteristics of his opus. The analysis of eight Slovenian folk song arrangements of the composer Ambrž Čopi showcases the characteristics of selected folk songs, and their comparison with other authors as well as with the original versions. The present work offers brief and general directions for composition interpretation and for the work with a choir. Furthermore, it offers the report on the graduation concert, which represents the practical part of the diploma thesis. The methodologies used in the diploma thesis are the descriptive method, the comparative method, the historical method, the method of classification, and the method of analysis, and synthesis.
