Abstract

Turizem se vedno hitreje razvija in postaja vse bolj pomembna gospodarska panoga, zaradi tega je na tem področju tudi vse večja konkurenca, gostje pa vedno bolj zahtevni. Da bi destinacije svojo konkurenčnost ohranile se morajo osredotočiti na svoje goste in njihovo zadovoljstvo. Pomembno je da organizacije vedo na podlagi katerih dejavnikov se turisti odločajo za obisk njihove destinacije, saj lahko le tako vidijo na katerem področju potrebujejo novosti in izboljšave glede ponudbe. Le zadovoljen gost bo o destinaciji širil dober glas med svojimi prijatelji in tako pripomogel k večji prepoznavnosti le te. Na destinaciji Solčavsko so na področju turizma v zadnjih letih dosegli sunkovit razvoj, dobro marketinško komuniciranje pa je pripomoglo k odlični prepoznavnosti tudi izven slovenskih meja.

Secondary abstract: Tourism is developing quickly and is becoming more and more important in the economy. Because of that the competition is getting bigger and the guests are becoming more and more demanding. In order to maintain their competitiveness, the destinations should focus on their guests and their satisfaction. It is important that the organizations know about the factors based on which the tourists decide to visit their destination, because this is the only way to see which area needs improvement. Only a content guest will spread the word about the destination among his friends and so contribute to a greater recognition of it. At the destination Solčavsko, tourism is developing rapidly in the recent years and the effective marketing communication contributed to a greater recognition of Solčavsko beyond Slovenian borders.
