Abstract

Namen diplomske naloge je bil preučiti sinergijski učinek kombinacije inhibitorjev na potek korozije na nerjavnem jeklu W. Nr. 1.4057 v raztopini H2SO4, s koncentracijo, c = 0.075 mol/L. Uporabili smo dva različna inhibitorja NaNO2 in Na2B4O7, ter kombinacijo obeh. Pri poskusih smo uporabljali gravimetrično metodo v skladu z ASTM G31 standardom. Testiranja smo izvajali pri različnih koncentracijah in različnih temperaturah. Določali smo izgubo mase, iz katere smo izračunali hitrost korozije, aktivacijsko energijo, Arrheniusov predeksponentni faktor in učinkovitost. Iz dobljenih rezultatov smo prišli do zaključka, da hitrost korozije z dvigovanjem temperature narašča in z višanjem koncentracije inhibitorjev pada. Pomembna je ugotovitev, da kombinacija inhibitorjev v korozijskem mediju poveča učinkovitost zaviranja hitrosti korozije jekla. Inhibitorni učinek sinergije je večji, kot pri posameznem inhibitorju.

Secondary abstract: The aim of the diploma work was to investigate the synergistic effect of the combination of inhibitors on stainless steels W. Nr. 1.4057 in a solution of H2SO4 with a concentration, c = 0.075 mol/L. Two different inhibitors NaNO2 and Na2B4O7 and a combination of both was used. The experiments were performed by using the gravimetric method, in accordance with ASTM G31 standard. Tests were performed at different concentrations and different temperatures. From the determined loss of mass corrosion rate, activation energy, Arrhenius pre-exponential factor and the inhibition efficiency was calculated. From the obtained results it was concluded that the corrosion rate increases with increasing temperature but it decreases with increasing concentration of inhibitor. The most important results shows that a combination of corrosion inhibitors in the medium increases the inhibition efficiency of the corrosion rate of steel. Synergistic effect of combinated inhibitors is greater than that of the individual inhibitor.
