diplomsko delo visokošolskega strokovnega študija Varnost in policijsko delo
Abstract
V drugem delu primerjamo komunikacijske sposobnosti domačih in tujih managerjev.

Communication is present all around us. We simply cannot live without it. This applies both to work and profession, as well as private and social life. At a young age, we already learn to communicate, convey and receive messages, we continue in school and later in the occupation.
Business communication is intended for setting and achieving the goals of the organization. For successful managers, communication is the key to a successful efficiency and effectiveness. Organizational communication can take place on the outside (external communication), when the organization interacts with its environment; it may also take place within the organization (internal communication), we are talking about communication within the organization.
Managers play a very important role in the communication between different levels of the organization and in communication between organizations. Therefore, any good manager must be familiar with the communication process, has to be acquainted with the methods of effective communication and has to be able to see the appropriate moment for changes in the business communication.
Diploma thesis is divided into four parts. The first part presented the objects and goals of the thesis, as well as issues and methods. In the second part we compared the communication skills of domestic and foreign managers. In the following, third part, we focused on the importance of business communication and the communication process, where we looked at the barriers that may occur within communication in the communication process, and how we can overcome these. We were also interested in the types, methods and ways of communication, how to communicate with managers in the organization and the environment. In this chapter we focused on the role of managers in the communication process and the functions and characteristics of successful managers. The last, empirical part of the thesis was carried out with the help of a business interview and written comments. |
