Abstract

V magistrskem delu sem se osredotočil na najbolj živo področje jezikovnega delovanja % besedje. Neverjeten razvoj svetovnega spleta in tehnologije na sploh sta , med drugim, botrovala tudi k razmahu angleškega jezika, ki ga spletna skupnost dandanes pojmuje kot linguo franco spletnega prostora. Svetovna veljava angleščine in njena globalna razširjenost sta omogočili lažje sporazumevanje med različnimi deli sveta, ta popularnost pa je v države po svetu prinesla tudi angleško leksiko. TLe-ta se je v Sloveniji razmahnila na v različne sfere delovanja, še posebej pa je to očitno na področju oglaševanja. Zaradi popularnosti spletnih družbenih omrežij in njihovega povezovanja z oglaševalsko industrijo sem v svojemi magistrskemi delu nalogi pregledal razširjenost anglicizmov, izposojenk in tujk v spletnem oglaševanju na Facebooku, ki velja za največje družbeno omrežje na internetu. Osredotočil sem se na gradnike Facebooka, kot je npr. sistem pošiljanja sporočil, in na novo besedje, ki je v rabo prišlo v rabo kot posledica sestavnih delov strani Facebook, kot so npr. like, tag, share, follow in message. Analiziral sem imena podjetij, ki delujejo na področju Štajerske, in zabeležil ponavljajoče se značilnosti angleškega jezika, ki se v teh imenih pojavljajo. Prav tako sem v letu 2014preteklem letu na strani Facebook zbiral različne objave podjetij, v katerih sem iskal anglicizme in prvine angleškega jezika, ki se mešajo s slovenskimi. Te sem nato analiziral na različnih jezikoslovnih ravneh: leksikalni, skladenjski, pravopisni, družbeni in medkulturni ravni.

Secondary abstract: In my MA thesis I focused on the most active sphere of language activity - the lexis. The immense development of the World Wide Web and technology in general have paved a way for the English language, which is considered in the internet community as the lingua franca of the virtual environment. World-wide recognition of English and its global presence have made it easier to communicate with different parts of the world, but this immense popularity has also brought English lexis to countries all over the world. This lexis has also shown its influence in different spheres of language activity in Slovenia, but its contribution is most evident in the field of advertising. Because of the immense popularity of online social networks and their integration with the advertising industry I researched how wide-spread Anglicisms, loanwords and foreign words really are in online advertisement on Facebook. I focused on new lexis, which came into use as a consequence of structural elements of Facebook, e. g. like, tag, share, follow and message. Moreover, I then analyzed Styria-based company names to identify recurring elements of the English language. For the past year I was also gathering Facebook posts of different companies, where I looked for Anglicisms and elements of the English language that intertwine with Slovene language elements. These Anglicisms were then analyzed on different linguistic levels: lexical, syntactic, orthographic, social and intercultural.
