Abstract

Razvoj podjetja in njegova poslovna uspešnost sta v tesni povezavi z razvojem kadrov. Pod pojmom »razvoj kadrov« razumemo vse, kar je v podjetju povezano s planiranjem kadrov, njihovim izobraževanjem, usposabljanjem, motiviranjem in izpopolnjevanjem ter z razvojem njihove kariere. Podjetje uspešneje izvaja razvoj kadrov, če ima dobro razvit sistem razvoja kadrov, ki omogoča sistematično spremljanje razvoja. Namen diplomske naloge je ugotoviti, kako v zavarovalnem podjetju skrbijo za razvoj kadrov, kakšna so njihova izobraževanja in usposabljanja. Zanimalo nas je tudi, ali so zaposleni dovolj dobro motivirani za delo, ali so odnosi med vodji in zaposlenimi dobri in kakšne so možnosti zaposlenih za razvoj kariere. V prvem delu naloge smo predstavili nekaj teoretičnih pojmov v zvezi z razvojem kadrov. Povzeli smo teme v povezavi s planiranjem kadrov, z motivacijo kadrov, njihovim izobraževanjem, delovno uspešnostjo in napredovanjem. V nadaljevanju smo predstavili zavarovalno podjetje in se v zadnjem delu lotili raziskave. Raziskavo smo izvedli z anketo med zaposlenimi, s katero smo želeli ugotoviti, kako v podjetju skrbijo za razvoj kadrov, kaj menijo zaposleni o izobraževanju in usposabljanju v podjetju, ali so zaposleni motivirani za delo, ki ga opravljajo, kakšni so odnosi med vodji in zaposlenimi ter kako deluje sistem nagrajevanja in napredovanja v podjetju. V zadnjem delu naloge smo predstavili ugotovitve raziskave in podali predloge, ki bi jih v zavarovalnemu podjetju lahko uporabili pri razvoju kadrov.

Secondary abstract: Company progress and its business success are closely related to human resource development. By the term “human resource development” we understand human resource planning, education, training, motivating, upgrading and developing of employees’ careers. A company successfully implements human development if it has a well-developed system of human development that enables systematic monitoring of development. This diploma works aims to establish how an insurance company ensures development of human resources, how are they educated and trained. We were also interested whether employees are sufficiently motivated for work, whether relations between managers and employees are good and how is with career possibilities. Firstly, we have presented some theoretical concepts related to human resources development. We have summarized topics related to human resource planning, motivation, training and employees’ success as well as skills growth. Then we have presented a selected insurance company and in final part conducted research among employees. The research tool was questionnaire among employees. Our goal was to find out how the insurance company ensures human resource development, how employees see education and training. We were also interested in establishing if employees are motivated for their work and what is the relationship between managers and employees. In the end of our research we were interested in rewards and promotion within insurance company. The final part of the diploma work presents results of the questionnaire and offers proposals for the insurance company to improve in the area of human resource development.
