Abstract

To diplomsko delo opisuje algoritem umetne kolonije čebel in nekaj njegovih izboljšav. Hkrati opisuje tudi področje inteligence rojev, kamor spada algoritem umetne kolonije čebel in navaja nekaj sorodnih algoritmov. Algoritem smo preizkusili na iskanju minimalnega vpetega drevesa in učenju nevronske mreže ter dobljene rezultate primerjali s Primovim algoritmom in algoritmom vzvratnega razširjanja.

Secondary abstract: This thesis deals with the artificial bee colony algorithm (ABC) and its improvements. It describes the field of swarm intelligence to which the artificial bee colony algorithm belongs and names certain similar algorithms. The implemented ABC algorithm is tested on the problem of finding the minimum spanning tree and training the neural networks. The obtained results are compared with the Prim’s algorithm and the backpropagation algorithm, respectively.
