diplomsko delo visokošolskega strokovnega študija Organizacija in management kadrovskih in izobraževalnih procesov
Abstract
Diplomska naloga obravnava motivacijo tujcev v Sloveniji za izobraževanje. Skozi predstavitev ključnih konceptov teoretskih izhodišč motivacije, izobraževanja in migracij ter naše raziskave smo poskušali ugotoviti splošna stališča migrantov do izobraževanja.

MOTIVATION OF FOREIGNS FOR EDUCATION |
Secondary abstract: |
The thesis deals with the motivation of foreigners in Slovenia for Education. Through the presentation of the key concepts of theoretical bases of motivation, education and migration as well as our research we try to determine the general attitudes of migrants to education. We tried to find out how they are motivated for education, which motives and which negative factors have influence on their motivation for learning.
Under the concept of a foreigner, we used the definition offered by the Aliens Act (Official Gazette of Republic of Slovenia, No. 003-02-6/2011-5, 23th July 2011) in the first article says that everyone, who is not a citizen of the Republic of Slovenia, is a foreigner.
The survey findings show that respondent migrants are mostly aware of the importance of education in life, and that they are very ambitious. The most common motives for education are improvement of working conditions and the acquisition of knowledge. The most negative impact on their motivation is lack of time and money. We found strong connection between the evaluation of education and motivation for education. It turns out that those who believe that education is very important are very motivated for education.
The results of the questionnaire survey also showed that respondent migrants, genneraly have higher levels of education than Slovenian citizens. |
