Motivacija policistov za izobraževanje

Povzetek

Okoliščine policijskega dela so se spremenile, delo je vedno zahtevnejše in od policista zahteva vedno več znanja, zato je potreba po izobraževanju neizogibna. Diplomska naloga je namenjena raziskovanju motiviranosti policistov za izobraževanje. Razdeljena je na dva dela. V prvem, teoretičnem delu, smo povzeli vsebine s področja motivacije, s katerim smo poskušali predstaviti njeno delovanje in pomen v procesu izobraževanja. Opisali smo slovenski izobraževalni sistem, opredelili cilje in naloge izobraževanja, predstavili strukturo izobraževalnih programov ter povezanost med stopnjami izobrazbe in zahtevnostjo dela. V nadaljevanju smo primerjali dosedanje izobraževanje policistov z novim izobraževalnim programom in predstavili obstoječi sistem organizacije policijske postaje ter sistemizacijo delovnih mest, ki jo bo zaradi novo sprejetega izobraževanja potrebno prilagoditi. Drugi del diplomske naloge predstavlja raziskavo motiviranosti policistov za izobraževanje. Izvedli smo jo s pomočjo anonimne ankete na področju celotne Slovenije. Sodelovali so policisti vseh generacij, ki zasedajo različna delovna mesta. Ugotovili smo, koliko se policisti izobražujejo, kaj jih pri tem motivira, kaj ovira in katerim motivacijskim dejavnikom dajejo prednost posamezne generacije. Na koncu smo podali nekaj predlogov, kako se lotiti izobraževanja policistov v prihodnje. V zaključku diplomske naloge smo povzeli ugotovitve raziskovalnega dela.

Sekundarni povzetek:	The circumstances of police work have changed, the work is increasingly more demanding and it requires more and more knowledge from a police officer, so the need for further education is inevitable. The purpose of the following diploma thesis is to determine the motivation of police officers for education. The thesis is divided into two parts. In the first, theoretical part, we have summarized the contents from the field of motivation; by doing that we have tried to present its activity and significance in the process of education. We have described the Slovene educational system, defined the objectives and tasks of education, and presented the structure of educational programmes and the connection between levels of education and the difficulty of work. Later we have compared the education of police officers up to this point to the new programme. We have also presented the existing system of the organization of a police station and the systematization of job positions, which will need adjustments because of the newly accepted educational programme. We have conducted an anonymous survey to determine the level of motivation of police officers for education. The second part of the thesis presents the research about the motivation of police officers for education. We have carried out the research by means of an anonymous survey, covering the whole area of Slovenia. Police officers, who took part, belong to different generations and work in different positions. We have found out how much police officers decide on further education, what their motivation for education is, what the impediments are and what motivational factors play the key role in each generation. In the end we have given some suggestions about the process of educating police officers in the future. In the conclusion of the thesis we have summarized the findings of the research.
