Abstract

Secondary abstract: Organised crime is a form of criminality, in which two or more persons join in executing criminal offences. This form of crime mostly includes areas of drugs, banking, extortions, corruption, bank robberies, burglaries, frauds, prostitution etc. Because organised crime often exceeds borders, breaking well organized organizations is a hard job. We often link mafia to organised criminal, which works in a similar way, they are only organised better, and executing criminal offences is long-lasting and organised. At organised crime it is about acquiring the biggest profit possible. Organised crime induces the feeling of fear in people, because it is founded on exploitation and violence. Terrorism is one of the most frequent subjects on the newscast in the last few years. Although terrorism is almost as old as mankind, we can set the beginning of the fanatic struggle against it or “war against terrorism” in the year 2001. That is when the attacks on the WTC and the Pentagon happened, and they changed the world. Terrorism is every organised act of violence, which is oriented against civilians or civil institutions for political and economic purposes. It is executed by private groups or countries. The basic purpose of the terrorists is trying to achieve their objectives, which are political in most cases, by performing an attention-grabbing terrorist act. Every terrorist attack causes alarm among people, because the victims are mostly innocent people. Media are a great help with their influence on the public. And all that has an influence on the politics.
