Abstract

Diplomsko delo se v začetku posveti sodobnim in tradicionalnim tehnikam izdelave risank. Preučuje različne tehnike fotorealističnega in nefotorealističnega upodabljanja. Slednje je največkrat uporabljeno v risankah. Upodabljanje uvrščamo v proces produkcije in je časovno potratno. V modelirniku Cinema 4D na podlagi zmodelirane in animirane kratke tridimenzionalne risanke ugotavljamo, kateri parametri so časovno najmanj potratni in kvalitetno primerni. Risanko v praktičnem delu upodobimo z vtičnikom Sketch and Toon in ob izbranih različnih parametrih ugotavljamo, če je vtičnik primeren za risanke ali ne. V štirih različnih načinih upodabljanja z vtičnikom Sketch and Toon potrdimo, da je primeren za upodabljanje risank.

Secondary abstract: This diploma thesis, is in the beginning devoted to the techniques of making modern cartoons and traditional ones. It examines various techniques of photorealistic and non-photorealistic rendering. The latter is most commonly used in cartoons. Rendering is part of the production process and is time-consuming. Based on a short three-dimensional cartoon, modelled and animated in Cinema 4D, we determined which parameters are less time consuming and quality suited. In practical part, the cartoon is also rendered with Sketch and Toon. With differently selected parameters we decided whether Sketch and Toon is suitable for cartoon rendering or not. With four different ways of rendering using Sketch and Toon, we confirm that it is suitable for this task.
