Abstract

Diplomsko delo obravnava možnost uporabe ploskih tekstilij v namene izkoriščanja sončne energije. V teoretičnem delu naloge so najprej predstavljene osnove sončnega sevanja, fotovoltaika, tj. veda, ki preučuje pretvorbo energije svetlobe v elektriko, ter zgradba in delovanje sončne celice. Osrednji del diplomskega dela se nanaša na stanje raziskav na področju uporabe tekstilij kot fotonapetostnih sistemov za izkoriščanje sončne energije. V nadaljevanju so predstavljeni načini izdelave tekstilij z integriranimi fotonapetostnimi sistemi in različni primeri uporabe fotonapetostnih tekstilij za glavna področja uporabe tekstilij (v tehnične namene, za notranjo opremo, za oblačila in modne dodatke).

Secondary title: The possibility of fabrics usage for solar energy exploitation
Secondary abstract: This thesis explores the possibilities of implementing flat textiles in solar energy exploitation. The theoretical part of my thesis introduces the solar radiation basics, photovoltaics as the science that studies the conversion of solar energy into electricity, as well as the construction and operation of the solar cell. The central part of the thesis deals with the review of the researches focused on the use of textiles as photovoltaic systems for harnessing solar energy. In addition, it describes ways of manufacturing textiles with integrated photovoltaic system and presents various examples of photovoltaic textiles for the main areas of the end-usage (technical application, interior, clothing and fashion accessories).
