Abstract

V teoretičnem delu diplomskega dela smo razjasnili pojme turist, turizem, organizator potovanj in opredelili funkcije turistične agencije. Opisali smo zgodovino in razvoj turističnih agencij na splošno v svetu ter razvoj turizma v Sloveniji. Turizem smo razvrstili glede na gibanje, učinek v plačilni bilanci, dejavnost, število in čas bivanja. Ta razvrstitev je zgolj groba, poznamo tudi druge vrste turizma, katerih imena povedo, za katero vrsto gre. V raziskovalnem delu diplomske naloge smo ugotavljali, kaj je glavni razlog ljudi za potovanje, kaj pri izbiri destinacije najbolj vpliva na uporabnike turističnih storitev in koliko denarja so ljudje pripravljeni odšteti za oddih s turistično agencijo. Zanimalo nas je tudi, kateri medij je po mnenju anketiranih najprimernejši za oglaševanje turistične agencije in njenih produktov, ugotavljali smo, kolikokrat letno ljudje potujejo, kje rezervirajo potovanje in katero je njihovo najljubše prevozno sredstvo. Zanimal nas je tudi splet dejavnikov pri izbiri potovanja.

Secondary abstract: In the theoretical part we were trying to clarify the concepts tourist, tourism, tour organizer and identify travel agency functions . We described the history and development of tourism agencies in the world in general and the development of tourism in Slovenia . We classified tourism into types according to the movement, the effect of the balance of payments, activity, number and length of stay . Mentioned types are only a rough classification, there are also other types of tourism, whose names tell what type of tourism is. In the research part we determined what are the main reasons for people to travel, what in the choice of destination has the greatest impact on the users of tourist services and how much money people are willing to pay for a vacation with a travel agency . We were also interested which medium, according to the respondents is the most suitable for advertising of tourist agencies and its products, we determined how many times per year people travel, where they book travel and which is their favorite type of transport. We were interested in a combination of factors when choosing travel.
