Organizacija kompleksnih projektov športnih prireditev

Abstract

Organizacija velikih športnih prireditev vključuje različne materialne in nematerialne vire, časovno omejenost in tveganost, zanje pa je odgovorna določena skupina ljudi. S temi lastnostmi lahko povežemo športne prireditve s projekti. Z drugimi besedami, organizacije velikih športnih prireditev se lahko lotimo kot projektov. Če omenjenim lastnostim prištejemo še medsebojno prepletenost vključenih aktivnosti, sočasnost njihovega izvajanja, raznolikost sodelujočih pri projektu itd., pa govorimo o kompleksnosti projekta. Za obvladovanje kompleksnosti različnih dejavnikov moramo vzpostaviti primerno projektno organizacijo. Pri oblikovanju projektne organizacije za kompleksne projekte športnih prireditev moramo zagotoviti prilagodljivost, formaliziranost, splošno centraliziranost in nizko stopnjo diferenciacije. Prav tako mora biti inovativna, da omogoča hitro komunikacijo, koordinacijo in kontrolo. Najprimernejša oblika je zato čista projekta organizacija, ki ustreza vsem zahtevanim lastnostim. Takšna oblika je bila vzpostavljena tudi pri organizaciji evropskega prvenstva v košarki – projekta EuroBasket 2013, ki velja za največjo športno prireditev, organizirano na slovenskih tleh.

Secondary abstract:	The organization of major sports events includes different material and immaterial resources, time limitation and riskiness, which are the responsibility of a certain group of people. With these features we can link sports events with projects. In other words, we can manage the organization of major sports events like they were projects. If we add mutual interconnection of included activities, simultaneity of their implementation, the diversity of the participants in the project etc. to the mentioned features, we are talking about the complexity of the project. In order to manage the complexity of different factors we need to establish a proper project organization. In designing the project organization for complex sports events projects we need to ensure flexibility, formalization, general centralization and a low level of differentiation. It also needs to be innovative to allow quick communication, coordination and control. The most suitable form is therefore a net project organization that fulfils all the demanded features. Such form was also established in organizing the European Basketball Championship – project EuroBasket 2013, which is the largest sports event ever organized on Slovenian ground.
