Abstract

Diplomska naloga se osredotoča na področje zadovoljstva in motivacije na delovnem mestu. Zadovoljstvo na delovnem mestu je opredeljeno kot pozitivno emocionalno stanje posameznika, ki je rezultat posameznikovega načina doživljanja dela, pojmovanja in ocenjevanja stanja delovnega okolja, izkušenj pri delu ter načina občutenja vseh elementov dela in delovnega mesta. Motivacija je duševni proces, ki s pomočjo različnih motivov ali teženj, to so lahko potrebe, vrednote, želje, ideali ali nagoni, vodi vedenje ljudi in jih usmerja k določenim ciljem. Izjemno pomemben dejavnik, ki zagotavlja resnično učinkovitost delovnega procesa, je motiviranost posameznika za delo. Z diplomsko nalogo smo želeli osvetliti zadovoljstvo na delovnem mestu in učinkovite načine motiviranja zaposlenih v osnovnih šolah. Anketni vprašalnik so izpolnjevali zaposleni v dveh slovenskih OŠ. Na podlagi pridobljenih rezultatov lahko sklepamo, da je 96 % v raziskavi sodelujočih vsaj deloma ali popolnoma zadovoljnih na delovnem mestu. Zaposleni ocenjujejo tako delovno okolje kot tudi komunikacijo med zaposlenimi kot primerno, hkrati pa prepoznavajo tudi pomemben doprinos primerne komunikacije k zadovoljstvu na delovnem mestu. Zaposlene z največ srednjo oz. nižjo izobrazbo najbolj motivirajo dobri odnosi, višja plača, dobre delovne razmere, varnost zaposlitve, možnost napredovanja, medtem ko zaposlene z višjo stopnjo izobrazbe najbolj motivirajo dobri odnosi, pohvale in priznanja za uspešnost, dobre delovne razmere, varnost zaposlitve in samostojnost pri delu. Predhodno navedene ugotovitve lahko učinkovito uporabimo pri oblikovanju strategij motiviranja zaposlenih.

Secondary abstract: This diploma paper focuses on the area of job satisfaction and motivation at the workplace. Job satisfaction is defined as an individual person’s emotional state, which is the result of the individual’s experience of work, conception and assessment of working environment, work experience and the ways of sensing all elements of work and the workplace. Motivation is a mental process that leads people behaviour and directs them to particular goals with the help of different motives and tendencies, such as needs, values, wishes, ideals or instincts. Individual’s work motivation is an extremely important factor, which guarantees right efficiency of the work process. With this diploma paper, we have tried to enlighten job satisfaction and effective ways of motivating employees at primary schools. Employees of two Slovene primary schools completed the questionnaire. Based on gained results we can conclude that 96 % of respondents are partially or completely satisfied with their workplace. They believe their work environment and communication among employees are appropriate. In addition, they believe appropriate communication contributes to satisfaction at the workplace. Employees with secondary education or lower are the most motivated by good relations, higher salary, good working conditions, job safety, advancement opportunities, whilst employees with higher education are the most motivated by good relations, compliments and acknowledgments for effectiveness, good working conditions, job safety and self-dependence at work. We can effectively use these findings with forming strategies for motivating employees.
