Abstract

Besede so zapisane v dialektološki fonetični transkripciji in analizirane s pomočjo strokovne literature. Predstavljena je še statistična analiza izvorov vseh obravnavanih leksemov, kjer se potrdi hipoteza, da ima večina besed slovanski izvor.

Secondary title: Vocabulary of the selected places of the Central Styrian dialcet
Secondary abstract: This diploma thesis deals with the dialect vocabulary related to rooms and equipment in a farm house, outbuildings, farm chores, and rural implements. The selected vocabulary is based on the questionnaire for the Slovenian Linguistic Atlas (SLA) while the dialect equivalents and their pronunciation were collected with the help of the informants in the following villages: Makole, Poljčane, and Spodnja Polskava, which are briefly presented in the initial chapter. Due to the fact that the debated research points are part of the Styrian dialect group, its dialectal features are also presented. This is followed by the general and phonetic description of the Central Styrian dialect, where the discussed places belong to in the narrower sense. The end of the theoretical part involves a short presentation of the Slovenian Linguistic Atlas and the description of phonetic symbols used in the diploma work. In the empirical part of the thesis, the collected material is systematically organized and, regarding the semantic field, divided into two chapters. The words are phonetically transcribed and processed with the help of the specialized literature. The included statistical analysis of the word origin confirms the hypothesis that the majority of words are of Slavic origin.
