Abstract

Vodenje. Močna beseda, zaradi katere skoraj vsak človek, ko jo sliši obstane in se zamisli. V vsakdanjem življenju imamo z vodenjem veliko opravka. Ni vsak človek dober vodja, med seboj se razlikujejo. Po stilu vodenja, načinu vodenja, osebnostnih lastnostih, načinih motiviranja, zadovoljstvu zaposlenih pod njegovim vodstvom, itd. V teoretičnem delu magistrske naloge raziskujemo ravno to. Kako različni stili vodenja vplivajo zadovoljstvo in motiviranost zaposlenih. V nadaljevanju naloge smo tako opisali različne stile vodenja, definirali osebnost vodje in kako ta vpliva na zaposlene. Pojasnili smo različne motivacijske teorije, načine motiviranja in opisali kako motiviranje vpliva na zaposlene. Ugotavljali smo tudi zadovoljstvo zaposlenih. V empiričnem delu smo s pomočjo štirih hipotez ugotavljali vpliv stila vodenja na motiviranost in zadovoljstvo zaposlenih in vpliv osebnosti vodje na motiviranost in zadovoljstvo zaposlenih. Rezultate smo smiselno analizirali in predstavili. Ugotovili smo, da stil vodenja delno vpliva tako na motiviranost zaposlenih, kot tudi na njihovo zadovoljstvo. Prav tako kot stili vodenja, delno vpliva tudi osebnost vodje na zadovoljstvo in motiviranost zaposlenih.

Secondary abstract: Leadership implies influence and concerns us in our daily lives. Not everyone can be a good leader. Leaders are different in terms of their leadership style, personality traits, motivation methods, effects on satisfaction of staff under their leadership, etc. The theoretical part of this Master's thesis explores the effects of different leadership styles on staff satisfaction and motivation. Leadership styles, leader's personality traits, motivation theories and motivation methods are described and compared in terms of their influence on staff and staff satisfaction. In its empirical part, the thesis provides four hypotheses to examine the relationships between leadership styles and staff satisfaction and between leader's personality traits and staff motivation and satisfaction. An analysis of results suggests that leadership style as well as leader's personality traits are partly reflected in staff motivation and satisfaction.
