Abstract

Povzetek Umirjanje prometa je lahko eden izmed osnovnih dejavnikov s katerim zmanjšamo hitrost na določenih delih cestnega omrežja. Z zmanjšanjem hitrosti v cestnem prometu lahko posledično izboljšamo varnost in kvaliteto življenja v urbanih okoljih. V magistrski nalogi so predstavljene vrste naprav in ukrepov za umirjanje prometa. Osnovni del naloge predstavlja analiza prevoznih hitrosti na različno izvedenih trapeznih ploščadih na območju Maribora. S pomočjo skritih meritev hitrosti smo pridobili hitrosti na posameznih trapeznih ploščadih. Bistven del naloge predstavlja ugotavljanje povezave med izvedbo trapezne ploščadi (naklon rampe na trapezni ploščadi) in prevozno hitrostjo čez trapezno ploščad. V sklopu naloge je ugotovljena korelacija oziroma odvisnost naklona rampe in prevozne hitrosti čez trapezno ploščad.

Secondary abstract: Abstract Traffic calming can be one of the principal measures to reduce car speeds on certain sections of the road network. With speed reduction in traffic it is possible to improve traffic safety and the quality of life in urban situations. A series of devices and measures for traffic calming are presented in this dissertation. The main part of the work is an analysis of speed measurements taken from different locations with speed humps in the Maribor region. With the help of hidden speed measurements we were able to obtain different speed values on certain types of speed humps. The goal of this work was establishing a correlation between a certain type of speed hump or bump (its angle of incline) and the achieved speed of a vehicle that is driving over it. In this work we have found a correlation between the percentage of the hump's incline angle and the achieved speed of a vehicle driving over it.
