Abstract

Vsako podjetje, ko se ustanavlja in kasneje tekom svojega življenjskega cikla, ima zamisel svojega razvoja oziroma vizijo. Vizija je dovolj realna slika prihodnosti podjetja. Z vizijo podjetje nakaže kaj želi v prihodnosti doseči in ustvariti. Od podjetja je odvisno ali bo vizijo imelo zapisano, ali pa jo bodo v mislih poznali samo njihovi ključni udeležneci. Turizem postaja vedno pomembnejša gospodarska panoga, ki pozitivno vpliva na številne gospodarske dejavnike. Tudi turistična podjetja, kamor spadajo turistične agencije, imajo svojo vizijo. V diplomski nalogi smo predstavili različne definicije vizije podjetja različnih avtorjev. Prav tako smo razložili, kaj so turistične agencije in kakšen pomen imajo za slovensko gospodarstvo. Namen naloge je bil med seboj primerjati, analizirati in podati morebitne predloge za izboljšavo vizij vseh turističnih agencij, ki so locirane v občini Maribor. Na podlagi pridobljenih vizij smo ugotovili, da turistične agencije premalo svojega časa namenijo viziji podjetja in da se mnoge sploh ne zavedajo kako pomembna je vizija za njihova podjetja ter njihov razvoj.

Secondary abstract: When being established, every company has an idea of its development or its vision. A vision is a realistic description of a company in the future. It shows what the company wishes to achieve and become in the future. It is up to the company if the vision is to be written down or if it is to be known just to the decision-makers in that company. Tourism is becoming an increasingly important industry which has a positive impact on many economic factors. Tourist companies, including travel agencies, also have their own visions. In this diploma paper, we presented different definitions of company vision by different authors. We also explained what travel agencies are and their significance for the Slovenian economy. The main objective of this paper was to compare, analyse and propose potential improvements of company visions of all tourist agencies located in the Municipality of Maribor. Based on the visions we were able to obtain, we proved that tourist agencies in the Municipality of Maribor do not devote enough time to their company visions. Also, they are not aware of the importance of vision for their companies and their development at all.
