Abstract

Zaradi čedalje zmogljivejših računalniških integriranih vezij se je razvila potreba po hitrejši in učinkovitejši komunikaciji med posameznimi računalniškimi enotami. Prav tako se pojavlja zahteva po vedno večji količini prenesenih podatkov. V tem magistrskem delu smo raziskali in implementirali komunikacijo, oziroma prenos podatkov, med digitalnim signalnim krmilnikom proizvajalca Texas Instuments, ter uporabniškim vmesnikom na osebnem računalniku. Komunikacija temelji na Ethernet omrežju in uporablja TCP/IP protokol. Za izvedbo komunikacije smo uporabili omrežni čip WIZNET W5200, s fiksno ožičenim TCP/IP protokolskim skladom. Uporabniški vmesnik za vzpostavitev in testiranje komunikacije smo izdelali v programskem orodju MATLAB/Simulink.

Secondary title: Personal computer to digital signal controller communication and data transfer using TCP/IP protocol
Secondary abstract: Ever increasing performance of integrated circuits has led to demand for a faster and more efficient communication amongst the individual network nodes. Data throughput is also on the rise. In this work a communication between digital signal controller, from manufacturer Texas Instruments, and a user interface application on the personal computer was established, using TCP/IP protocol, over Ethernet network. For the implementation of the communication the WIZNET W5200 network chip was used which features a hardwired TCP/IP protocol stack. User interface which was used to establish and test the communication on the personal computer, was created using MATLAB/Simulink software.
