Abstract

Secondary title: REAL-TIME ROTATION OF 3D VIRTUAL OBJECTS WITH ANDROID-SUPPORTED MOBILE DEVICES
Secondary abstract: We created a mobile application for a real-time rotation of 3D virtual objects on the screen of a personal computer. This application uses gyroscope and accelerometer, embedded in every mobile device and is limited to the mobile devices with Android operating system. It allows a fast and intuitive establishment of communication between mobile device and the server’s environment, which rotates the selected 3D object on the screen of personal computer. Virtually any 3D object can be manipulated in this way. Thereby, the application can easily be adapted to the different business models, which require manipulation of the 3D virtual objects, such as review of computer models, sightseeing, review of clothes, cars, hair styles and so on.
