Abstract

Diplomsko delo z naslovom Vzgojiteljeva bralna pismenost je sestavljeno iz teoretičnega in empiričnega dela. V teoretičnem delu sem pisala nekaj o pismenosti, naštela sem nekaj vrst pismenosti, omenila sem tudi pismenost odraslih, najbolj pa sem se posvetila bralni pismenosti in branju. V empiričnem delu sem se osredotočila na raziskovanje bralne pismenosti vzgojiteljic in vzgojiteljev predšolskih otrok. S pomočjo članka in anketnega vprašalnika sem ugotavljala, kako vzgojitelji in vzgojiteljice predšolskih otrok razumejo članek in kako dobro znajo poiskati informacije v članku, po katerih jih sprašujem v anketnem vprašalniku. Diplomsko delo sklenem s sklepnimi ugotovitvami, v katerih predstavim predloge za izboljšanje trenutne situacije na področju vzgojiteljeve bralne pismenosti in smernice za nadaljnje raziskovanje.

Secondary title: Reading literacy of preschool teachers
Secondary abstract: The thesis entitled Reading literacy of preschool teachers consists of the theoretical and empirical part. In the theoretical part I discussed literacy, listed some literacy types, mentioned literacy in adults and focused on reading literacy and reading as such. In the empirical part I focused on the research of reading literacy of preschool teachers. With the help of an article and questionnaire I analyzed how preschool teachers understood the article and how well they can search the article for information, requested in the questionnaire. The thesis concludes with findings, where I provide suggestions for an improvement of the current situation in the field of reading literacy of teachers and guidelines for further research.
