Abstract

Namen diplomskega dela je raziskava evolucije YouTube kot glasbene platforme v kateri smo se posvetili pregledu sprememb, ki so se dogajale od njegove ustanovitve do danes ter so vplivale na glasbenike. Zanima nas kako so na glasbo vplivali posamezni elementi YouTuba in kdo se je prilagodil komu. V ta namen smo najprej predstavili začetke YouTuba ter nadaljevali s pregledom sprememb, ki so vplivale na glasbeni del platforme. Skozi te vidike predstavimo tri članke s katerimi bomo raziskali vpliv YouTuba na glasbo, njegovo sodelovanje z drugimi glasbenimi platformami ter dobre prakse YouTube glasbenih kanalov.

Secondary abstract: The purpose of thesis is to study the evolution of YouTube as a music platform. We focused on review of the changes that have taken place since its foundation, have influenced musicians. We are interested in how music influenced the individual elements of YouTube, and has adapted to which. For this purpose, we first introduce the beginnings of YouTube, and continue with the changes that have affected the musical part of the platform. With three articles we investigate the influence of YouTube on music, collaboration with other musical platforms, and good practices for YouTube music channels.
