Abstract

Ljudje se vse bolj zavedamo pomena kakovosti okolja, v katerem bivamo. O okoljski problematiki nas vsakodnevno ozaveščajo mediji, vse več pa je tudi podjetij, ki se ukvarjajo s to problematiko. Osrednji namen te diplomske naloge je raziskati in predstaviti aktualno stanje na področju ozaveščanja o okoljski problematiki. Uvodni predstavitvi teorije sledi oblikovanje splošnega komunikacijskega modela za podjetja, ki se ukvarjajo z obravnavano problematiko. Predstavljen je tudi pomen medijev, nevladnih organizacij in ostalih deležnikov pri delovanju teh podjetij in ozaveščanju ljudi. V empiričnem delu so predstavljena podjetja iz mariborske regije, ki se ukvarjajo z okoljsko problematiko, in rezultati ankete, s katero je bila analizirana stopnja ozaveščenosti lokalnega prebivalstva. S pomočjo raziskovanja teorije, sodelovanja z omenjenimi podjetji, ankete in številnih pregledanih spletnih virov je na koncu preverjena veljavnost postavljenih hipotez.

Secondary title: COMMUNICATION STRATEGY THAT RAISES PEOPLE AWARENESS OF ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES
Secondary abstract: People are becoming more and more aware of how important is the quality environment for us. Media daily inform us about the environmental issues and the number of companies that deal with these issues is growing too. Main purpose of this diploma is to research and present the current situation on this field. After the introductory presentation of theory and definitions we created a general model of communication strategy for environmental related companies. We have also present the importance of media, NGOs and other stakeholders in the functioning of these companies and in informing people and raising their awareness. In the final chapters we presented the environmental related companies from Maribor and result s of survey which was used to determinate the level of awareness of the local population. Through research of theory, cooperation with companies, survey and many web sources reviewed we confirmed or disproved our preliminary hypothesis.
