Abstract

Informacijska pismenost združuje znanje, spretnosti in zmožnosti, ki jih potrebuje posameznik za uspešno vključevanje v informacijsko družbo. Skozi magistrsko nalogo smo poskušali odgovoriti na vprašanje, kako lahko splošna knjižnica v svojem okolju doprinese k izboljšanju informacijske pismenosti pri specifični skupini uporabnikov % dijakov. V prvem delu naloge so preko teoretičnega pregleda predstavljene posamezne definicije in termini, kakor tudi dogajanje na področju informacijskega opismenjevanja dijakov v splošni knjižnici pri nas in po svetu. V raziskovalnem delu naloge je bil na osnovi zbranih informacij oblikovan in poskusno v prakso prenesen model informacijskega opismenjevanja za dijake v splošni knjižnici.

Secondary abstract: Information literacy combines the knowledge, skills and abilities needed by an individual for successful integration into the information society. Through the master's thesis we have tried to answered the question of how the public library in their environment contributes to the improvement of information literacy in a specific group of users % high school students. In the first part of the thesis are presented definitions and terms, as well as developments in the field of information literacy for high school students in the public library at home and around the world. In the research part of the thesis was based on the information collected, created and piloted in practice the model of information literacy for high school students in the public library.
