Abstract
Diplomsko delo zajema opis protokolov HTTP 1.1, SPDY in HTTP 2.0 z namenom, da bi predstavili značilne metode za pohitritev prenosa spletnih strani. Najprej na kratko razložimo vrste spletnih strani. Opis protokolov se začne s HTTP 1.1, na katerem temeljita SPDY in HTTP 2.0. Prvi večji prispevek k pohitritvi delovanja spleta je opisan pri protokolu SPDY. Sledi opis protokola HTTP 2.0 s poudarkom na podobnostih in razlikah med njim in protokolom SPDY. Pri testiranju posameznih protokolov za izbrano spletno stran so bile ugotovljene razlike v času nalaganja spletne strani in v količini poslanih ter sprejetih podatkov.

This thesis includes a description of HTTP 1.1, HTTP 2.0 and SPDY protocols in order to present typical methods for speeding up the transfer of web pages. First, we briefly explain the types of web pages. The description of the protocols begins with HTTP 1.1, which SPDY and HTTP 2.0 are based on. The first major contribution to the speed-up of the web is described with the SPDY protocol. After that, we describe the HTTP 2.0 protocol with an emphasis on similarities and differences between it and the SPDY protocol. When testing specific protocols for a selected web page, there were differences in the load time of the web page and the amount of transmitted and received data. |
