Abstract

V strokovni literaturi lahko zasledimo, da se glasbene sposobnosti razvijajo postopno skozi vso otroštvo do odraslih let. Zanimalo nas je, na kakšni stopnji razvoja glasbenih sposobnosti se nahajajo otroci, stari od 5 do 6 let, torej otroci pred vstopom v šolo. V teoretičnem delu so predstavljene teorije o razvoju glasbenih sposobnosti, stopnje glasbenih sposobnosti, načini preverjanja glasbenih sposobnosti, obravnavane pa so tudi glasbene dejavnosti v vrtcu. V empiričnem delu nas je zanimal razvoj glasbenih sposobnosti, še posebej razvoj ritmičnih in melodičnih sposobnosti. Opravili smo raziskavo, ki zajema 28 otrok, starih od 5 do 6 let. Uporabili smo 4 različne teste, ki so zajemali testiranje na področju ritmičnega in melodičnega posluha. Vse teste so otroci dobro opravili, zasledili smo le nekaj manjših težav, ki pa so za to obdobje normalne. Ugotovili smo, da imajo otroci bolje razvite ritmične sposobnosti, kot melodične. Pri testih preverjanja ritmičnih sposobnosti so imeli manj težav.

Secondary abstract: In literature on children's musical development we can discover that a child's musical abilities develop gradually from childhood to adulthood. We were interested in the level of musical abilities of children between the age of 5 and 6, meaning children just before entering primary school. In the theoretical part of the diploma paper we present the theories of musical development, levels of musical abilities, and ways of testing musical abilities along with predominant musical activities in kindergartens. The empirical part of the diploma paper deals with development of musical abilities, rhythmic and melodic abilities in particular. We have conducted a research that included 28 children between the age of 5 and 6. We used 4 different tests testing rhythmic and melodic ear. The children did well in all the tests; they encountered minor difficulties normal for their age. We discovered children's rhythmic abilities to be developed better than melodic abilities. The conclusion was due to them having fewer difficulties with tests of rhythmic abilities.
