diplomsko delo
V raziskavo smo vključili 165 vzgojiteljev in 45 staršev otrok 2. starostnega obdobja iz izbranih okoliških vrtcev. Rezultati so pokazali, da vzgojitelji in starši radi pojejo. Menijo, da imajo dobro razvit melodični in ritmični posluh. Najbolj priljubljena dejavnost staršev in otrok je poslušanje glasbe, petje pesmi in ples.

Factors that influence the development of musical abilities in preschool children |
Sekundarni povzetek: |
The preschool period is principal for the development of a musical ear, hence it is important that children live in a stimulating environment in which their abilities can be developed in the best possible way. In the theoretical part, we initially touched on the topic of music in general, namely what it represents to adults and what to children. We discussed musical abilities which include elementary and higher-order musical abilities. As the most important starting point, we presented the main factors of musical development; heredity, environment and own activity. In the empirical part we conducted a study which purpose was to examine the factors that influence the development of musical abilities in preschool children. We focused on the family environment (children's parents), wider environment (educators) and children's own musical activity. The study included 165 educators and 45 parents of children in the second age period from the selected nearby kindergartens. The results showed that educators and parents like to sing. They believe that they have a well developed melodic and rhythmic hearing. The most popular activity for parents and children is listening to music, singing songs and dancing. A lot of educators play an instrument; still there is less playing at home within the family. The most common leisure-time musical activity among parents and educators is the choir. Singing is still the most common musical activity in kindergarten. Educators rarely intone a song. Very few children are included in the choir in kindergarten and only a few of them attend a music school. |
